The Tale of the Night Retreat in Shamanotek

When the sun sets behind the edge of the forest and the shadows come alive, seekers of truth gather around the sacred fire. They are led by a knowledgeable guide — one who understands the language of mushrooms and is on familiar terms with the wind.

Washing of the Spirit: Before beginning the sacrament, travellers wash their thoughts in silence. Worldly vanity fades away, unnecessary disputes die down. Only a pure heart remains, ready to receive the gifts of the forest.

Communion with Gifts: The Shaman takes the Golden Elixir from his secret stash — thick honey in which the power of the Royal Fly Agaric and the Wise Hedgehog are dissolved. Each drop of this potion is like a key to the doors that lead to the depths of the mind.

Night Vigil: Travellers sit in a circle, and a conversation without words begins. Legends come to life in the glow of the embers. Father Fly Agaric leads them along the paths of memory, illuminating dark fears and transforming them into light. Old Man Hedgehog weaves patterns of new thoughts, mending holes in the soul and granting clarity of vision.

Voice of the Forest: In the silence of the night, true hearing opens up. The rustling of leaves becomes advice, the crackling of branches — instruction. In this ritual, everyone finds their main answer, which was hidden in the roots of their own family.

‘It is neither dream nor reality, but Initiation into the Mystery. Whoever stands by the Shaman's fire that night, whoever accepts the mushroom gifts with reverence, will wake up the next morning a different person. Their eyes will be opened to what others cannot see, and they will have the power to control their own destiny.’

The ritual ends with the first rays of dawn, when the dew washes away the remnants of night visions. People leave the forest, carrying within themselves a particle of eternity, unshakeable peace and the seal of wisdom of the Shamanotek.
